ABSTRACT:
This study was conducted to reveal polymorphism among seven wheat cultivars which in future facilitate fingerprinting and the crop improvement. Twenty main bands were produced ranged in their molecular size from 7.9 to 67.9 KDa, out of them there were 15 monomorphic, three polymorphic and two unique. Low polymorphism reached was 15% observed using the SDS-PAGE of total wheat grain proteins. Unique fingerprint was given for all studied cultivars except Sham6 and Tamuz 3. Phyllogenetic relationship among studied cultivars put all cultivars in one large cluster accept the genotype Dujlah.
