A Master Thesis in the Faculty of Science on the removal of pollutants in water by hydrolytic plant

A master thesis at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa discussed the treatment of cadmium and lead by hydra plant.
The aim of the thesis was to test the hydrolysis plant’s ability to accumulate the elements of cadmium and lead in its tissues and its usability in green technology or the technique of removing pollutants using plants.
The message included the treatment of hydrolyzed plants planted in special water-immersed ponds with different concentrations of cadmium and lead and the measurement of some physical and chemical properties of water and some physiological parameters of the plant to prove the ability of the plant to remove the elements of cadmium and lead from contaminated water.
The thesis recommended that more specialized studies should be conducted to determine the ability of different plants to treat heavy elements other than cadmium and lead in polluted water.
