A Master Thesis at the University of Kufa on noise pollution in hospitals and its impact on health

A Master thesis discussion conducted at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa for  the student Ahmed Abdul Hamid Abdul Khader to assess the levels of noise pollution in hospitals and its effects on the health of workers.The aim of the thesis was to identify different noise levels at different time intervals and to measure blood pressure, noise symptoms and noise sources in hospitals using questionnaires with their staff.The thesis included measuring noise levels using a noise measuring device in three hospitals: Sadr Teaching Hospital, Hakim General Hospital and Zahra Teaching Hospital.The thesis recommended reducing the noise level in the three hospitals in line with the standards accepted by the World Health Organization and the need for periodic measurement of blood pressure and heart rate in hospital staff.
