A joint patent for a lecturer at the University of Kufa on an innovative design using a mobile phone as a new detector for the chemical luminescence system

Dr. Mustafa Abdel-Kadhim Hussein, a lecturer at the faculty of Science at the
University of Kufa, in conjunction with Dr. Kamel Hussein Alwan of the University
of Basra, obtained a patent for enabling them to design an innovative using a mobile
phone as a new detector of the chemical luminescence system – flow injection.
The patent included designing an application model for a new semi-autonomous
system that works in the mobile phone as a chemical luminescence detector for the
limonel compound using flow injection technology using homemade materials that
are simple and cost effective.The patent, which was granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and
Quality Control, aims to estimate some pharmaceutical compounds at different
concentrations using sound via mobile application programs.
