Dr. Shorouk Mahdi Al-Azzawi, a lecture at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa, participated in the activities of the Arab Space Week sponsored by the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences on the electronic Zoom platform with the participation of a group of academics and specialists from various Arab countries.
Dr. Shorouk Al-Azzawi’s participation included giving a lecture entitled “Space Law, in which she touched upon the international laws that regulate the use of outer space,” how they originated, the reasons for them, and international treaties and agreements and their texts approved by the countries that participated in the space race.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Azzawi was chosen as a member of the administrative board of the Baghdad Center for Astronomy and Space Sciences.
The center aims to partner with Arab astronomical societies and Southwest Asia to spread astronomical culture in Iraq, the Arab world and the world.
