The Physics Department at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa held a seminar on the use of multi-spectral satellite images in the sustainable development of Najaf Governorate.
The seminar included a lecture given by a master’s student, Kawthar Hussain, which included an explanation on the use of remote sensing techniques, especially multi-spectral satellite images, in monitoring the changes occurring in the various areas that make up the province of Najaf for the period between 2000-2020.
The seminar dealt with the importance of satellite images in giving adequate data to the university and the governorate departments for adoption in the strategic plans for development.
