The Faculty of Science discusses a master’s thesis on the impact of emissions from asphalt factories

The Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa discussed a master’s thesis on the impact of some emissions from asphalt factories on the health of their workers and on the environment surrounding the factories in Najaf Governorate.

The results of the thesis submitted by student Saja Nasser Hussein, revealed the effect of asphalt factories pollutants on some physiological blood parameters of their workers, and on the quality of the indoor air of the factories and the soil and flora of the surrounding areas.

The thesis recommended the necessity of studying the horizontal spread of emissions from asphalt factories in order to clarify the limits of their impact, and to direct studies towards studying the impact of emissions on other neighborhoods.
