A scientific team at the Faculty of Science participates in research in an international conference in Turkey on the effectiveness of sagebrush against pathogenic bacteria

A scientific team in the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science,
consisting of Dr. Raghad Ali, Dr. Enas Abdel Raouf and Dr. Suad
Waheed, participated in a joint research delivered online at the
International Conference on Scientific Research and Innovative Studies in
Antalya, Turkey.
The research included studying the effect of the aqueous and alcoholic
extract of sage leaves on pathogenic bacteria isolated from wounds. The
results proved the effectiveness of the aqueous extract more than the
alcoholic extract in inhibiting pathogenic bacteria significantly.
