Master’s thesis in the Department of Laboratory Investigations on the treatment of dermatophytes with nanoparticles

A master’s thesis in the Department of Laboratory Investigations
investigated the evaluation of the efficiency of magnetic iron oxide
nanoparticles and zinc oxide nanoparticles in inhibiting the growth of
dermatophytes.
The thesis, which was presented by Ali Mutaib Khalaf, under the
supervision of Prof. Dr. Raed Ali Hussein, aims to eliminate the fungal
microorganisms that cause skin infection by using the prepared
nanoparticles.
The results of the thesis revealed, for the first time of its kind, the
effectiveness of nanoparticles prepared from magnetic iron oxide and
zinc oxide in inhibiting the growth of pathogenic fungi.
