Master’s Thesis in the Department of Bioloy on the diagnosis of antibiotic resistance of S. maltophilia bacteria

A master’s thesis in the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa discussed the molecular identification of the genes encoding the anti-life resistance of S. maltophilia bacteria isolated from your clinical infections. Maltophilia antibiotics used in the treatment, for the purpose of choosing the appropriate treatment.

The results of the thesis led to the diagnosis of 20 bacterial isolates of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, which were tested for sensitivity to antibiotics, and identified the encoded genes that cause resistance in bacteria.

The letter recommended conducting an antibiotic sensitivity test before giving the treatment prescription for the purpose of choosing the appropriate and effective treatment for infection.
