The Department of Laboratory Investigations held a seminar on the role of circulating cancer cells in the blood in cancer diagnosis and treatment efficacy. The episode included a lecture by Dr. Ali Adel Majeed, in which he dealt with how to diagnose circulating cancer cells present in the blood for the purpose of benefiting from them in the evaluation of hormonal and chemotherapy.
