The Department of Environment holds a panel discussion on the environmental impacts of plastic waste

The Department of Environment and Pollution held a panel discussion on the effects of plastic waste on the environment. The seminar included a lecture by Prof. Dr. Muhannad Hazem Naji, in which he dealt with the widespread use of plastic materials in daily life, especially single-use materials. The lecturer touched on the negative effects of plastic materials on environmental systems such as soil, water and air, and thus their impact on humans and other living organisms, which calls for reducing the use of plastic and using environmentally friendly and biodegradable materials.
