The Faculty of Science holds a training workshop for students on occupational safety

The Psychological and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the National Center for Occupational Health and Safety in Najaf, held a workshop entitled (Training students on occupational health and safety and introducing work evaluation devices).

The workshop aimed to educate students about occupational health and safety conditions and requirements for laboratory workers to reduce the incidence of diseases and work accidents.

The workshop included a lecture by Engineer Qais Azouz Latif, in which he dealt with the most important safety and health measures for laboratory workers and the most important equipment and supplies required to create a risk-free laboratory work environment.

The workshop recommended the necessity of continuing the process of educating students about the rules of security and occupational safety for laboratory workers, and the importance of providing the required equipment and supplies that provide a safe work environment inside the laboratories.
