The episode included a lecture by Dr. Afiaa Sabah Nasser, in which she dealt with the general composition of cosmetics and its most important contents of heavy metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium, and their cumulative effects on the human body when used for a long time, which may cause skin rashes, respiratory infections, chronic kidney and liver diseases, blindness and cancer.
The episode touched on the most important natural alternatives to cosmetics, such as vegetable oils, henna, turmeric, and aloe vera, which are characterized by abundance, low cost, and great health benefits.
