The Department of Physics is holding a seminar on the atomic properties of five- and six-electron systems

The Department of Physics held a seminar on the study of atomic properties and the calculation of energies for five- and six-electron systems.

The seminar included a lecture by the researcher Hashim Youssef Yacoub, supervised by Prof. Dr. Qassem Shamkhi Jabbar. It dealt with calculating many important atomic properties of the secondary shells of pentagonal and hexagonal systems of electrons and studying the effect of the relationship between increasing the atomic number and the studied properties.

The seminar concluded that there is an effect of increasing the atomic number on the atomic properties of the systems included in the study.
