Two teachers in the College of Science publish joint research in an international journal

Two teachers in the College of Science publish joint research in an international journal Professor Dr. Abbas Abu Nasiriyah, a teacher in the Department of Physics and Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Al-Madani, a teacher in the Department of Chemistry, published a joint scientific research with professors from Iraqi universities and a professor from Italy, in the specialized international Dutch journal (Computational and Theoretical Chemistry) Within the classification of Science Direct. The research deals with improving the properties of monolayer nanoslices of the (AlN) system by doping it with (Ga) to increase its ability to sense toxic gases (NO, CO, and SO) and thus employ these innovative sensors for environmental protection applications. The research also presents the depth of quantum mechanics methodologies, the importance of its results and the insights derived from it in exploring new innovative and sustainable materials for environmental purposes.
