The Department of Environment and Pollution in the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa held a scientific course on the types of drugs and their psychological and physical harm.
The course aims to spread cultural awareness of the negative impact of drugs on the individual and society and to urge people to stay away from them in all forms and ways.
The course included lectures on the types of drugs and the psychological, behavioral and societal damages of drugs and their impact on the general health of man, delivered by Dr. Mithaq Abd Muslim and Dr. Afiaa Sabah from the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Arafat Hussein from the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kazem from the Faculty of Education, and Prof. Dr. Ali Jawad from Najaf Health Department.
