The Faculty of Science holds a training course on laboratory biology and pathological analyses

The Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science held an exceptional course entitled (Laboratory Biology and Pathological Analyzes). The course aimed to train students from the third stage who succeeded to the fourth stage on laboratory ethics, how to deal with samples and read the results of analyzes.

The course included theoretical lectures and practical applications presented by Dr. Ashraf Raouf Muhammad Ali and Assistant Lecturer Duaa Amer Kazem, on the main laboratory analyzes and laboratory tests, and addressing the statement of common errors in pathological analyzes and when measuring vital activities in the body.

The course also dealt with examining the pulse in various places of the body and the correct methods for measuring pressure and sugar level, and training students to read the ECG, needle glaucoma, fixation of cannulas, giving pink treatment, and how to deal with the patient in health crises, especially when the heart stops with a procedure where cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is performed.
