FoS at UoKufa organizes a course on modern technologies in plant classification

With participation of professors and specialists, the Department of Ecology at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa organized a training course on (Using taxonomic indications and modern scientific techniques in plant classification.(The Dean, Dr. Merza Al-Murshidi stated that the course included lectures in two parts: Using anatomical evidence and modern scientific programs in plant classification and how to employ embryonic and molecular evidence in the classification of floral plants as well as investigating the genetic relations between plant species.“the course gave practical applications, including the function of permanent flakes of floral plants, and the process of separating DNA with plant dyes,” he added.
