Dr. Fadia Mahdi Al-Amidi, a lecturer in the Department of Laboratory Investigations at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa, has won a number of awards at various international conferences and exhibitions on the invention of a local vaccine for seasonal influenza virus.
Dr. Fadia Al-Amidi said that she was honored by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control for winning the Warsaw International Exposition in Poland with the participation of 300 researchers from all over the world. She also won for the same the patents as medically important and investable patents held in the second exhibition and conference for Iraqi inventors by the holy Abbasia shrine in Karbala.
Dr. Al-Amidi added that the patent was considered a distinguished patent in the conference of Egypt inventing held in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and also won the first place in the medical axis at the second international conference for creativity held at the University of Babylon.
