Faculty of Science holds seminar on bio-pollution of Nile flower in Iraq

The Department of Earth Sciences at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kufa held a seminar on the biological pollution of the Nile Flower in Iraq in the presence of a group of professors and researchers.

The seminar included a lecture by Shaima Mazi Jabbar, who spoke about the fact that the Nile flower plant is a poisonous plant that multiplies quickly consumes large amounts of water and absorbs large quantities of dissolved oxygen in water.The seminar pointed to the negative effects of the Nile on the environment and its threat to water sources in the countries where it is spread, including Iraq.
